  • Mayor of the Municipality of Palaio Faliro, since September 1st, 2019
  • Deputy Mayor of Education, Welfare & Sports - responsible for Social Services and the Municipal Health Center, 2017-2019
  • Deputy Mayor of Administration & Finance - responsible for Social Services, September 2014 to February 2017
  • Deputy Mayor of Education, Welfare & Sports, 2011-2013 and 2007-2008
  • Appointed Advisor for European Programs, 2013-2019
  • Vice-Chairman of the Municipal Council, 1996-1997
  • Secretary of the Municipal Council, 1994-1995
  • Candidate for Mayor in Palaio Faliro, 2002

  • Mr. Fostiropoulos participated in several scientific conferences and seminars concerning Local Government and Social Policy. He, also, represented the Municipality of Palaio Faliro in the following European Programs: SMART CARE, PRODESA, SMART BEAR, and “The metabolic syndrome during adolescence” (Municipalities of Palaio Faliro, Ag. Dimitrios and Alimos).
