Georgios Lolis was born in 1959 in Ioannina.

He graduated from the Electrical Engineering Department of TEI Kavala.

He was the owner of a technical office of electromechanical studies from 1984 to 1990.

From 1984 to 2009 he worked for the airline under the name "OLYMPIC AIRLINES", while from 1999 he served the company as a director.

From 2011 to 2014, he served as a municipal councilor of the Municipality of Ioannina. During this time he was the vice-president and then the president of the Municipal Regional Theatre of Ioannina as well as the president of the secondary school committee.

In addition, he was the deputy president of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Ioannina and was an active member in various committees and administrative boards of the organization of the Municipality.

In 2014, he was a member of the board of directors of a company whose main business is the sales and service of vehicles.

In June 2019, he was elected a municipal councilor with the party of the present Mayor Moses Elisaf entitled Ioannina-New Age. From then until today he serves the Municipality of Ioannina as Deputy Mayor of Tourism. In addition, he holds the office of President of the legal entity under public law of Perama Cave. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Municipal Regional Theatre and the financial committee of the Municipality.

He is married and has 2 children, Ioannis and Panagiotis.
