Marjan Matrakoski

Representative of Prilep

Marjan Matrakoski was born in 1966 in Prilep. He received his bachelor’s degree in Geography from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. In 2016, he obtained master’s degree in Cartography from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje.

Marjan Matrakoski has extensive experience as a professor at several primary and secondary schools across the country. Starting 2005, he took up the post of education and sports adviser at the Municipality of Prilep. He has since been promoted and currently holds the post of head of the public activities department in the Municipality of Prilep.

During his work as professor, Marjan Matrakoski has won numerous regional and national award with his students. In 2005, he coordinated a project by the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation (JICA), implemented with the Cadastre and the Bureau for Development of Education, titled "Let’s make a map of our environment.” Furthermore, Marjan Matrakoski has received plenty of diplomas, appreciation letters, certificates of successfully completed training courses and cooperation in the field of education and civil society organized by various organizations such as USAID, UNDP, CRS, NDI, UNICEF, ECIP, DAI, and REF.
