Vassilis Nanopoulos is a Graduate of the Higher School of Chemistry of the University of Athens 1979, MBA from Brunel University 1999, UK, Diploma Holder of "Henley Management College" 1996, with Economics Studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business 1980-1983.He studied Food Chemistry at the University of Madison-WisconcinUSA 1987 and holds a degree in Oenology from the University of Athens 1983.

His long professional career starts in 1982 with a Managerial position in the Quality Control Department of Warner-LambertA.E. His career continued in the same way, Director of the Warner-Lambert SA Factory in 1989-1992, Director of the Greek, Middle Eastern and African factories of CadburySchweppes in 1992-2005, Director of Kraft Foods in Corinth in 2005-2011.

In 2011 he became President and CEO of MondelēzInternational Korinthos Production SA and since 2017 until today he has been working as a Business Consultant.

At the same time, he travels extensively in Europe , Africa , Asia and America, representing the company's production division in Greece and the Middle East in presentations, seminars, meetings, strategic planning and business problem solving.

He is fluent in English.
