Mr Thomakos was born in 1967. He graduated from the Anavryta Classical Lyceum and shortly after from Athens Law School. He worked as an attorney-at-law since 1993, along with his wife, also an attorney-at-law, Georgia Papaefthymiou, with an expertise in sensitive matters, namely environmental factors which affect the quality of life of certain citizen groups.

He worked as a journalist on ANTENNA television and radio, the Greek-Cypriot Radio Station and collaborated with local newspapers in Kifissia and Maroussi.

During his academic studies, he was an active member of student unions. Since 1994, he was elected a Municipal Councilor in Kifissia - the youngest one, President of the Municipal Council, the Municipal Sports Organization and more. He voluntarily resigned in 2010.

In 2004 he was appointed by the Greek Government at the Board of Directors of the ETHEL Bus Company and subsequently, elected as Vice-President.

He is the father of two children and his favorite quote that summarizes his life principles is the following one by Cicero:

“There is no part of life, neither public nor private, neither forensic nor domestic, neither in how you conduct yourself nor in your dealings with others, when is it possible to be free from appropriate action”.
