He comes from the mountainous region of Nafpaktia and comes from a farming family, both on the side of his father, Spyridon Zorbas, and his mother, Dimitra Zorbas.

He is married to Maria Apostolou and they have two girls, Dimitra - Charitini and Eleni.

He began his studies at the Medical School of the University of Athens in 1974. After the completion of his studies and his military service, he received in 1989 the specialty of Physician - Pulmonologist at the Hospital N.Th.A. "Sotiria".

From 1985 to 2010, he practiced medicine as a freelance doctor and started working as a Pulmonologist at the I.K.A. Agia Paraskevi.

All this time, he also volunteered his services at the Municipal Clinics of the Municipality.

From 2014 until today he is the Director of the Medical Doctor Pulmonologist at the P.E.D.Y. Agia Paraskevi.
