The Mayor of Pallini, Mr. Athanasios Zoutsos, was born in 1959 in Drymona Rovia, Evia.

A graduate of the Law School of the University of Athens, he has been active in political and social life since his early student years, participating in the student movement. He has been practising as a lawyer since 1984.

He has resided in Gerakas since 1994, the year since which he has been continuously elected Municipal Councillor. He participated in various committees of the Municipality from 1995 to 1998, while from 1999 to 2004 he held the position of President of the Municipal Council.

In 2005-2006 he was Deputy Mayor of Gerakas.

In the 2006 municipal elections he led the Combination "Gerakas, our city" and was elected Mayor for the first time.

In the municipal elections of 2011 he led the combination "ANTHOUSA - HERAKAS - PALLINI - A city for all" and was elected Mayor of the new Kallikratiko Municipality of Pallini.

In the municipal elections of 2014 he led the combination "ANTHOUSA - GERAKAS - PALLINI - A city for all" and was elected for the second time Mayor of the Kallikratiko Municipality of Pallini.

The Board of Directors of the Local Union of Municipalities and Communities of Attica (TEDKNA) from 2008 to 2010.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Attica (PEDA) from 2011 to 2014.He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) since 2014 for the current municipal period.
